22 jump street analysis of the film

the main focus in the film is about Jenko played by ( Channing Tatum) and Schmidt played by Jonah Hill. Both of them are a police officer doing an undercover mission in a college to find out who is selling drugs, called "WhyPhy". Jenko then starts hanging out with the cool jocks and Schmidt ends up hanging out with an art student called Maya played by (Amber stevens west) which is the head officer's daughter.

the lighting is used to accentuate both of them by using like bright colours, using sunlight or in a very bright room. Also it makes all the scene are interesting and suggest the film is positive.

i've notice that when they use short and sharp cuts in scenes, such as the shooting scenes. Makes the audience more interested and more excited to watch because in the film they also include minor amount of weapon but still create a fun and positive atmosphere.

Another shot that they used a lot is the medium shot because it is suitable for, a character doing a dialogue and it helps the audience to focus on the character than whats going on beside or at the back of them. For example in the scene, Jenko and Schmidt got called to go in a meeting room.
